Our Teachers have a variety of backgrounds and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their roles. We encourage our older students to take on teaching experience with us, in a will to create more jobs in the arts in the area of the Fylde Coast.

DEBBIE
FOUNDER, TEACHER, ELITE SHOW TEAM DIRECTOR & PASTORAL.
Debbie founded FCYT in 2016. Debbie trained at the prestigious East 15 Acting School gaining a BA HONs. Since then she has a list of theatre and TV credits, including originating roles in Susan Holders Shake it Up Baby. Since then she has taught In China and gained a PCGE in education. Debbie also teaches LAMDA and Acting technique.

HANNAH
HEAD OF PASTORAL
ELITE SHOW TEAM DIRECTOR,
Hannah has years of experience working with youths, she holds a ‘Children in the Workplace’ qualification as well as a degree in social care. Hannah ensures that FCYT is a safe space for our young people.

ORNA
JUNIOR SHOW TEAM TUTOR
Orna has been teaching at FCYT for 2 years. She has a first class degree in Musical Theatre from Edge Hill University and regularly performs in various musicals and plays. She recently won a NODA award for her role as ‘Sarah’ in ‘The Toxic Avenger’. She is trained across all 3 disciplines of Musical Theatre and works regularly with our Junior Show Team on projects, technique and confidence building.

REECE
SATURDAY THEATRE SCHOOL LEAD.
Reece trained with Fylde Coast Youth Theatre from the age of 12, taking part in our musicals and plays. She then continued her training with MTTA Preston college, taking on lead roles in their end of year shows.

HOLLY
ASSISTANT TEACHER
Training with Fylde Coast Youth Theatre since the age of 8 and completing LAMDA grades. Holly is now about to embark on further training at LIPA Sixth Form College.

KIERA
ASSISTANT TEACHER
Training with Fylde Coast Youth Theatre since the age of 10 and completing LAMDA grades. Kiera is now about to embark on further training at LIPA Sixth Form College.

MAISIE
TEACHER
Maisie started her training at the age of 11 at Fylde Coast Youth Theatre, she has gained her LAMDA grades in Musical Theatre and had a string of leading roles in our shows. She continued with her Theatre Education by attending LIPA Sixth form college. She is currently in Cardiff studying Musical Theatre at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Maisie continues to teach online and often does workshops for our students. Maisie teaches LAMDA and singing technique both Online and in person.
